I have a tattoo on my back. It is of a tribal sun with a celtic-ish type loopy thing inside which could look vaguely like a cross. Today I have discovered that traditionally (for sailors) a crucifixion scene across your back was said to ease the pain of a flogging. Now what I want to know is will mine count, if it is not meant to be this and is really only a wishy washy crossish thing? Placebo effect maybe? Not of course that I have ever had a flogging or in fact plan to have one in the future, but it's always nice to know these things isn't it. You know ... just in case.
