getting up 2

Wednesday, May 26

Do you know how expensive it is to get to Greenland! I am devastated. I've always wanted to go just cause it has always seemed the total opposite to Australia but the airline prices are just so insane. Maybe I'll never get there - sob.

Yes I have spent the morning looking at flights on the web and am just dying to buy one. I'm thinking of going to Verona in June/July with Kev to see the Opera (good god I'm becoming cultured). I can't wait - I've always wanted to see one in Italy. But no can book until he comes back with a date. And I'm going to Paris and Ireland with my folks in the summer. But they are farfing around with when and if.

I think I might try and get my flight home instead. I have decided that 16 October is the day. This will be the fifth year anniversary of my flight out of Oz and seems fitting that it should be the start of my flights back in. I am, naturally trying to only book flights with itineraries that will bankrupt me. But I'm just dying to go to South America and if I can't go to Greenland then god damn it I want to go there.
